What is Paintless Dent Repair?
Paintless dent repair is a technique used to repair minor dents on the body panels of a vehicle. When paintless dent repair is done by a trained professional the repaired panels will not need to be repainted, which makes paintless dent repair a cost-effective, time saving and environmentally friendly method of repairing minor body damage on vehicles.

How do the dents come out?
A paintless dent repair technician has to get on every single dent - where there is access behind the panel, the technician pushes up each individual dent. Where there is not access behind the dent, the technician glue pulls - the dent gets pulled up and then knocked back down until perfectly even with the panel.
Paintless dent repair technicians use a light (as shown in the photo) to be able to see every high and low on the panel of the vehicle.

Do dents come back after being repaired using the paintless dent repair method?
Dents do not come back. For example, if your vehicle got hailed on and got repaired using the paintless dent repair method, the dents will NOT return, unless your vehicle gets hailed on again after the repair. (or a door ding, collision, etc.)

Can all dents be repaired by paintless dent repair?
No, some dents need a conventional body shop repair. It depends on the severity of the dent, the location of the dent, the access to get on the dent and the type of metal. It is best to have a paintless dent repair technician inspect the dent. Feel free to stop by our shop if you want a dent looked at!

What if the scratch is all the way down to the metal? Not just through the clear coat?
If the scratch is all the way down to the metal, it cannot be polished out, it would need paint.
